Reading Screenings
and Literacy Evaluations

When your child is struggling with reading, spelling, or written language, it can be hard to know what kind of help they need. A screening or evaluation can provide a clearer starting point.

Screenings vs. Evaluations

Reading Screening

Price: $125

A reading screening gives a brief snapshot of your child’s current reading skills and determines your child’s dyslexia risk. It is useful when you need direction but are not ready for a full evaluation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A screening is not a dyslexia diagnosis. It helps identify areas of concern and determine whether further evaluation or reading therapy may be appropriate.

Comprehensive Literacy Evaluation

Price: $425

A comprehensive literacy evaluation provides a fuller picture of your child’s reading and spelling profile.

IMPORTANT NOTE: MIRA Literacy provides educational literacy evaluations for instructional planning. These evaluations are not medical, psychological, or neuropsychological evaluations and do not replace testing by a licensed psychologist, neuropsychologist, speech-language pathologist, or qualified diagnostician when a formal diagnosis is needed.
